Terms of Use

Last updated: July 26, 2026

1. The service

songdocker.com ("songdocker", "we") is a tool for bands to manage songs and set lists and to produce PDF song sheets and gig books. These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of songdocker.com. By creating an account or using the service you accept them.

2. Accounts and bands

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Content (songs, set lists, uploads) belongs to the band it was created in and remains available to that band if a member leaves. Band admins control membership, roles, billing, and band settings.

3. Your content and copyright

You keep whatever rights you hold in the content you enter. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to store the lyrics, chords, and other material you put into songdocker. All band content is private to the band — songdocker provides no public song pages — but storing material you have no rights to may still be unlawful in your jurisdiction. We may remove content and/or suspend accounts in response to credible infringement notices. To submit or contest a notice, contact support@songdocker.com.

The starter Library is separate from your own content. Its songs are older works we believe to be in the public domain, and each one cites the publication its words are traced to along with the copyright rule that clears it in your band's country. The chord arrangements are our own, written from the melodies rather than taken from published charts. This is a good-faith determination and not legal advice: copyright terms differ by country and by contributor, so how you use this material remains your responsibility. It is provided as-is, with no warranty of public-domain status. If you believe a Library song is misattributed or still protected, tell us at support@songdocker.com and we will remove it while we look into it.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Plans are per band, billed monthly or yearly. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC as merchant of record; their terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. When a subscription ends, the band's content is retained and the band reverts to the free preview (creation limits and no PDF output) — nothing is deleted. Our Refund Policy is part of these terms.

5. Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no attempts to breach other bands' data, no automated scraping or bulk extraction, no illegal content, no reselling access. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that endanger the service or other users.

The song sheets and gig books you generate are for your band's own use. Don't sell them, publish them, or distribute them outside your band — for most material you would need the rights holder's permission to do so, and you may not use songdocker to produce material for sale. Songs you took from the starter Library are an exception only to the extent they are genuinely in the public domain where you are, which remains your judgement to make.

6. Privacy

We store the account and band data you give us and use it only to run the service. We don't sell your data or send marketing email. Payment details never touch our servers — they go directly to Lemon Squeezy.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages — including a set list that doesn't survive contact with the audience.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app and continued use constitutes acceptance. You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict of law rules.
